**Data and code for the paper:** Regev, Markusfeld, Nelken & Deouell. Context Sensitivity across multiple time and frequency scales. - All code is at GitHub repository: https://github.com/tamaregev/N1P2 - Data under Files -> OSF Storage - Description of analysis steps and figure creation below ---------- **Project overview** ------------- We recorded EEG responses to unattended sequences of equiprobable pure tones having various frequency ranges. We report sensitivity of the N1 and P2 auditory-evoked potentials to frequency intervals integrated across several time scales - N1 on a longer time scale than P2. We modeled our results using adaptation equations to estimate the time and frequency scales of context sensitivity for N1 and P2. We further show that the frequency scale (adaptation bandwidth) rescales to the range of frequencies presented in the stimulus sequence. **Analysis steps** ----------------------------- *A guide for using the GitHub repository and data at OSF storage.* Only processed data is provided here. Raw data is heavy (~52G) and can be provided by request. Additionally, we only uploaded the data from Exp 3, which included 5 blocks with varying range conditions. Exp 1 and Exp 2, providing 3 more blocks (with wide range) can be provided by request. **1. Preprocessing of EEG recording** - **Main script:** *MasterScript_N1P2_GH.m* Analyzer workspaces (where artifact rejection removing ocular artifacts by ICA and some filtering was done. See methods in paper) incuded under OSF storage. **2. Calculation of Grand ERPs** - **Main script:** *Grand_N1P2_GH.m* - Output data provided: GrandMatrix folder **3.
