This data set describes the data used in the publication: "Investigating mirror system (MS) activity in adults with ASD when inferring others’ intentions using both TMS and EEG" published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders". This is an .xlsx file with 4 sheets. Sheet 1 describes the behavioural data, sheet 2 describes data on the motor evoked potentials (MEPs) recorded from the hand in response to Transcrainal Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) of the contralateral M1 cortex, sheet 3 describes Electroencephalogram (EEG) data recorded from different sites on the scalp, and sheet 4 describes eye-fixation data recorded during the different tasks. Also included on sheet 1 are a measure of the autistic traits of each individual, their diagnosis of autism (TD=Typically Developing; ASD=Diagnosis of Autism), and the groups to which they were allocated during the experiment (TD and low AQ score, TD and high AQ score, ASD).
