Wiki Version:
This project provides data set for the publication ***Subcortical White Matter Changes with Normal Aging Detected by Multi-shot High Resolution Diffusion Tensor Imaging*** on ***PLOS ONE***. If you are interested in the whole data set, please contact the corresponding author: huaguo@tsinghua.edu.cn. ---------- The data online includes whole brain DTI data of 5 subjects and are in Philips .rec file format. The filenames are in the format of 'tag_age_sex(1 for male and 2 foe female)'. You can use the [dti studio][1] software to browse the data. You can click File - DTI Mapping and enter the parameters as following: - Image Width, Height: 512 - Image Slices: 34 - Axial - FOV Width, Height: 240 (mm) - Slice thickness: 4 (mm) - b-value: 800 (s/mm2) - Gradient table: 0: 0.000, 0.000, 0.000 1: 1.000, 0.000, 0.000 2: 0.446, 0.895, 0.000 3: 0.447, 0.275, 0.851 4: 0.448, -0.723, -0.525 5: 0.447, -0.724, 0.526 6: -0.449, -0.277, 0.850 Eddy current correction using affine correction can be done in dti studio using 'Automatic Image Registration' (or eddy_correct in [FSL][2], etc.). Then you can do the tensor calculation and ROI analysis. [1]: https://www.mristudio.org/wiki/installation [2]: http://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fslwiki/
