This project asked two key research questions:
1) To what extend to profiles of reading and language skills reflect the Simple View of Reading in the ALSPAC cohort?
2) Are there multiple distinct patterns of cognitive and language skills that underlie reading comprehension difficulties?
Project components are organised as follows:
- **Pre-registration** (files uploaded; timestamped version viewable by clicking "Registrations" at the top of the page)
- **Data documentation*** - our codebook for variables requested from ALSPAC (spanning several sub-projects); code for extracting and pre-processing relevant variables for this sub-project.

*This project analysed data from the ALSPAC cohort, thus no data can be made publicly available. The study website contains details of all the data that is available through a fully searchable data dictionary and variable search tool (http://www.bristol.ac.uk/alspac/researchers/our-data/).
