## ICEtree ## **ICEtree v. 1.0** ICEtree is an interactive web application written in R and Shiny for exploring components of the International Corpus of English from a quantitative perspective. The app allows the user to apply a range of methods for visually exploring similarities between (groups of) texts on various levels of granularity. The app comes in three formats: i) source code, ii) a standalone version and iii) a browser-based version. When running ICEtree from source code, you need to install R and all necessary packages (a list of all required packages is listed in the file app.r). The standalone version comes prepackaged with a portable version of R and all required packages are pre-installed. This standalone version is only compatible with Windows. And finally, ICEtree can also be accessed via this link: [https://eng-ling.uni-bamberg.de/shiny/ICEtree/][1] ### References ### #### Corpora #### International Corpus of English - ICE Canada (ICE-CAN) - ICE Jamaica (ICE-JA) - ICE Great Britain (ICE-GB) - ICE Hong Kong (ICE-HK) - ICE India (ICE-IND) - ICE Singapore (ICE-SIN) - ICE USA (ICE-USA) #### Software #### - Anthony, Laurence. 2018.
