# Files ## Program for Experiment This program was coded using PsychoPy v2021.1.4 and hosted on an online repository for psychological experiments (https://pavlovia.org). Participants ran the experiment by accessing the site through a web browser. Please note that the 'images' folder includes dummy image files since it is not allowed to share the original facial photos (used in the experiment) with the public due to the license issue. The photos were obtained from the Yonsei Face Database (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpsyg.2019.02626). ## Data All data in this study was stored in "SSEo_Data.xlsx", which includes: - ID2: Participant's ID number - Gender: 1 for male, 2 for female - Age: Age - Included_in_analysis: 1 for included; 0 for excluded (outliers) - SIAS: SIAS score - BFNE: BFNE score - SIAS01-SIAS20: responses for SIAS questions (between 0-4) - SIAS08re / SIAS10re / SIAS11re: reverse coding for Q8, Q10, and Q11 in SIAS - BFNE01-BFNE12: responses for BFNE (between 1-5) - BFNE02re / BFNE04re / BFNE07re / BFNE10re: reverse coding for Q2, Q4, Q7 and Q10 in BFNE - mu: fitting results - mean of the best-fitted psychometric function - sigma: fitting results - standard deviation of the best-fitted psychometric function - r2: fitting results - goodness of fits - error_catch: error rate for conditions of negativity=0 and negativity=16 - pnr_negXX: proportion of negative responses for the condition of negativity=XX
