Description: Mapping the outcomes of simulated learning experiences incorporated into placement components of university-based allied health programs: a scoping review protocol. The scoping review will provide an understanding of how SLE has been implemented into the professional practice placements of allied health programs and highlight existing gaps to inform future research in this field. The review questions which will guide the scoping review are: i) What allied health programs are incorporating SLE into their placement components? ii) What outcomes have been reported from the incorporation of SLE into the placements for allied health programs? iii) What are the barriers and facilitators to the implementation of SLE within placement for allied health programs?
