Description: The aim of the present study is to determine whether transposed-word effects can be observed under conditions of rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP). Although two studies using the RSVP procedure reported that the effects were only observed in error rates for a grammatical decision task using Chinese (Liu et al., 2022) or French stimuli (Mirault et al., 2022), more recent studies have found the effects in both in response times and error rates with English stimuli (Hossain & White, 2023; Milledge et al., 2023). In this study, we set out to replicate Experiment 2 of Milledge et al. (2023).
