Description: Data and script for the analyses within a paper with the same title As part of the revision process, we replaced the ML estimator with MLR. The abstract and the corresponding scripts were updated (20.08.2020). As part of the revision process, we implemented a ZIP model for symptoms instead of a linear LGM. As part of the revision process, we included supplementary analyses concerning the association between executive functioning and addictive behaviour seperated by groups (23.05.2022).
Rationale: Although there is evidence that reduced executive functioning plays a role in addictive behaviors, their longitudinal relationship remains relatively unknown.
Objectives: In a prospective-longitudinal community study, we tested the hypotheses that lower executive abilities are associated with more addictive behaviors at baseline and with increased addictive behaviors over time.
