Description: 3 x 2 between subjects design. (a) Independent variable “Einstellung” with the experimental conditions “Einstellung with critical trials”, “Einstellung without critical trials”, and “non-Einstellung control group”, (b) Independent variable thinking aloud vs. thinking silently. Both factors are fully crossed, i.e., six different groups of participants exist. Each student experimenter tests one participant from each condition and randomly assigns participants by drawing lots.
