Wiki Version:
This study is a second follow-up to the “See & act” study with the aim to investigate the impact of goal complexity and other factors on goal focus. The “See & act” study and the first online follow-up were concerned with age-related differences in goal focus across various measures. Because some of the findings seemed to contradict each other, we decided to investigate factors other than age that might impact a person’s goal focus (i.e., primarily the complexity of a goal but also whether the goal is hypothetical or personal, the life domain of the goal, and the method of measurement). In the folder "Study description & materials" you find a project description, with the background and methods of the project. In addition, you find the SoSciSurvey-project as .xml file as well as a pdf version of the survey. The folder "Data & Scripts" contains everything you need for data analysis (including a "read me" file).
