This project contains all the data and code for the paper titled: The Radical Flank: Curse or Blessing of a Social Movement? ## Pre-Registrations The general folder contains the pre-registration of Study 1 [`Preregistration Radical Flank Nov 2021.docx`] and the pre-registration of Study 2 [`210614_Preregistration_RFE.docx`]. ## Study 1: Sustainable University This folder contains all important information regarding Study 1. ### Study 1 Data and Code This folder contains the data and code to run the analyses of Study 1. However, due to the anonymization of the datasets, the cleaning script won't run properly (because of a missing variable). Therefore, we have provided data before cleaning [`Environmental_Movements_RFE_ANON.csv`] and after cleaning [`study1_clean_data_ANON.csv`]. As a result, the script for the analysis can run properly. If you want to re-run the cleaning script, you can contact us directly for the full file. - Environmental_Movements_RFE_ANON.csv - This is the anonymized raw dataset of Study 1. - study1_clean_data_ANON.csv - This is the anonymized clean dataset of Study 1. - Codebook Study 1.sav - This file contains all information about the variables. - Study 1 Analyses.Rmd - This code performs the analysis of Study 1. - Study 1 Cleaning & Preparation.Rmd - This code cleans the data. ### Study 1 Materials The file [`Full Materials Study 1.pdf`] contains a pdf of the qualtrics survey of Study 1. ## Study 2: Anti Fracking Movement This folder contains all important information regarding Study 2. ### Code and Data This folder contains the data and code to run the analyses of Study 2. However, due to the anonymization of the datasets, the cleaning script won't run properly (because of a missing variable). Therefore, we have provided data before cleaning [`RFE_numeric_anonymized.xlsx`] / [`RFE_text_anonymized.xlsx`] and after cleaning [`Study2_clean_data_anonymized.xlsx`].
