Wiki Version:
Happy to chat! I am no longer available over zoom. Please contact me by email, kaan@ufl.edu. We recorded EEG from Spanish-English bilinguals while they were reading sentences with and without code-switches. Next to them was somebody they knew was a Spanish-English bilingual, or an English monolingual. ERP switch effects (LPC, early frontal positivity), were affected by the type of partner present. This suggest that bilinguals dynamically adjust their language control depending on who is in the context.
