Wiki Version:
We are organizing a "replication ring" of laboratories to examine the robustness of priming effects on downstream judgments and behaviors. You can join us as a project member and co-author on the final project report as either an original author, a replicator, or both. 1. We seek original authors interested in nominating their own priming effect for replication by themselves and/or other researchers. Priming studies involving direct construct activation (e.g., sentence unscrambling, subliminal priming), goal contagion, and implicit carry-over effects from unrelated tasks (e.g., essay writing, imagination exercises) are all welcome. 2. Replicators are asked to conduct at least one replication with at least 100 participants in total, with more participants ideal if possible. Researchers with prior expertise in implicit social cognition are especially encouraged to take part, but anyone interested may serve as a replicator.
