# Description of Contents This repository contains data for the manuscript *Maternal Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and DNA methylation of newborns in cord blood* by Collender, Bozack et al. The directory structure of the project is described below, with links to specific descriptions and data dictionaries: - **Data** - **EWAS Results** - [Mutually_Adjusted_ACE_Indicators_Baseline_Change_Stats.csv][1] Statistics on baseline infant cordblood percent methylation and additive effects of maternal exposures to specific ACEs, estimated from mutually adjusted logistic models via Monte Carlo simulation - [Mutually_Adjusted_ACE_Indicators_EWAS_Results.csv][2] Estimated coefficients, standard errors, p values, and false discovery rates for effects of maternal exposures to specific ACEs on infant cordblood methylation *M*-values, estimated from mutually adjusted models - [Total_ACEs_Categorical_Baseline_Change_Stats.csv][3] Statistics on baseline infant cordblood percent methylation and additive effects of total maternal ACE exposures, specified categorically (0, 1-3, 4-10), estimated from logistic models via Monte Carlo simulation - [Total_ACEs_Categorical_EWAS_Results.csv][4] Estimated coefficients, standard errors, p values, and false discovery rates for effects of total maternal ACE exposures, categorized into 0, 1-3, 4-10 total ACEs, on infant cordblood methylation *M*-values - [Total_ACEs_Continuous_Baseline_Change_Stats.csv][5] Statistics on baseline infant cordblood percent methylation and additive effects of total maternal ACE exposures, specified as a continuous variable (0-10), estimated from logistic models via Monte Carlo simulation - [Total_ACEs_Continuous_EWAS_Results.csv][6] Estimated coefficients, standard errors, p values, and false discovery rates for effects of total maternal ACE exposures, specified as a continuous variable ranging from 0-10, on infant cordblood methylation *M*-values - **EWAS Results** - [WGCNA_Module_Data.RData][7] Data file readable by **R** statistical software containing information on comethylation modules identified during Weighted Correlation Network Analysis [1]: https://osf.io/ync5t/wiki/Mutually_Adjusted_ACE_Indicators_Baseline_Change_Stats.csv/ [2]: https://osf.io/ync5t/wiki/Mutually_Adjusted_ACE_Indicators_EWAS_Results.csv/ [3]: https://osf.io/ync5t/wiki/Total_ACEs_Categorical_Baseline_Change_Stats.csv [4]: https://osf.io/ync5t/wiki/Total_ACEs_Categorical_EWAS_Results.csv [5]: https://osf.io/ync5t/wiki/Total_ACEs_Continuous_Baseline_Change_Stats.csv [6]: https://osf.io/ync5t/wiki/Total_ACEs_Continuous_EWAS_Results.csv [7]: https://osf.io/ync5t/wiki/WGCNA_Module_Data.RData
