Description: Very low-income individuals sought representation from an oversubscribed legal services provider to initiate and complete divorce lawsuits. We randomized which would-be plaintiffs received an effort to find full lawyer representation versus which received an offer of telephone legal assistance. Primary outcomes were whether participants had a divorce case on record and whether they succeeded in terminating their marriages.
