Wiki Version:
This project contains archived data and materials supporting the publication: Woodgate JL, Makinson JC, Lim KS, Reynolds AM, Chittka L. Continuous Radar Tracking Illustrates the Development of Multi-destination Routes of Bumblebees. Scientific reports. 2017 Dec 11;7(1):17323. doi:10.1038/s41598-017-17553-1 This work was supported by European Research Council Advanced Grant no. 339347: RadarSpacePollinator and by EPSRC Program Grant no. EP/P006094/1: Brains on Board. Material is organised in the following sections: *Published paper* contains pdf copies of the published manuscript and supplementary material and copies of all published figures. *Radar tracks* contains text files with the raw radar track data for 201 recorded foraging flights reported in the manuscript, along with Excel files in which these tracks have been process and converted to GPS coordinates for analysis. A separate Excel file contains all variables derived from the flight tracks that were used in the analysis. *Radar track visualisations* contains graphical representations of every recorded flight track and video files showing the development of each bee's foraging routes. *Photos* contains photographs of bees and equipment used in the course of this study which may be helpful for illustrative purposes.
