The Across study aims to investigate the relationship between cognitive functioning, psychiatric symptoms and other clinical factors, and biological factors. Across uses a transdiagnostic approach, which cuts across traditional categorical diagnosis. Therefore, the study recruits participants with a variety of diagnoses. The study consists of measures on cognitive performance using an automated test battery and questionnaires on psychiatric symptoms, demographic information, and clinically relevant factors, such as self-esteem. Additionally, biological materials, such as blood samples, EEG recordings, and hair samples are collected from the participants. The sample consists of patients with psychiatric disorders who are recruited through the Department of Psychiatry of a university medical center. Currently, the Across study has included about 1100 patients.
