---------- WIKI NAVIGATION *[Introduction to Banyuls Experiment][1]* *[Contextual data][2]* *[Sequencing data][3]* *[Taxonomic and functional annotation][4]* ---------- Sequencing data --------------- All sequences are publicly available at ENA under a single study accession number [PRJEB87662][5] This study includes experiments (i.e. runs) from the following five sequencing & library construction protocols: 1) **(Emose_metagenomics_WGS)** Shotgun DNA sequencing; 2) **(Emose_metaBarcoding_18S)** Amplicon sequencing after 18S amplification by PCR using 1391F/EukB primer set. Library were constructed according to Illumina Library protocol without any sizing; 3) **(Emose_metaBarcoding_16S_noSizing)** Amplicon sequencing after 16S amplification by PCR using 515F/926R primer set. Library were constructed according to Illumina Library protocol without any sizing; 4) **(Emose_metaBarcoding_16S_sizing_450-650bp)** Amplicon sequencing after 16S amplification by PCR using 515F/926R primer set. Library were constructed according to Illumina Library protocol with a sizing step selecting the 450-650 bp fragments; and 5) **(Emose_metaBarcoding_16S_sizing_650-850bp)** Amplicon sequencing after 16S amplification by PCR using 515F/926R primer set. Library were constructed according to Illumina Library protocol with a sizing step selecting the 650-850 bp fragments. The protocols are specified for each experiment/run under the field "Library Construction Protocol". Unfortunately, that field cannot be used to sort/filter the experiments/runs at ENA, so that it is difficult to pick relevant sequencing data (fastq files). **Alternatively, you can explore/filter/select/access the experiments/runs using the worksheet** ***EMOSE_SAMPLES_EBI-FastQ-LINKS*** in the Google Spreadsheet [EMOSE (2017) - Banyuls Experiment - Data - Sample_Registry_20170815.xlsx][7] **Details about the extraction yields and sequencing strategy** of each sample are also available in the contextual data file: [EMOSE (2017) - Banyuls Experiment - Data - Sample_Registry_20170815.xlsx][7] [1]: https://osf.io/jv7az/wiki/home [2]: https://osf.io/ane6f/wiki/home/ [3]: https://osf.io/yhbxj/wiki/home/ [4]: https://osf.io/bkh8f/wiki/home/ [5]: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/data/view/PRJEB87662 [6]: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Rfx9Es34NbhdH9FU5blG3xXPAKnvXMtPSdvA8r4vOm0/edit?usp=sharing [7]: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Rfx9Es34NbhdH9FU5blG3xXPAKnvXMtPSdvA8r4vOm0/edit?usp=sharing
