Description: This project is part of the Hazelwood Health Study (https://hazelwoodhealthstudy.org.au), which focuses on the effects of a mine fire that covered the regional Australian town of Morwell in smoke for 45 days in early 2014. This component builds on the Adult Survey, focusing on respiratory health. The questions pertain to what has changed since the last time this cohort was interviewed, whether smoke exposure has made them more vulnerable to COVID-19, the confounding influence of the 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires, and whether good quality diets offer protection.
