Description: In this project, we approach the development of German youth footballplayers from a holistic, environmental perspective. Specifically, we investigate the organizational setting of German football academies focusing on such interpersonal processes as emotional linkage, interpersonal relationships, and social support, as well as their their consequences for players', coaches', and managers' performance, commitment, and health. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science as part of the Excellence Strategy of the German Federal and State Governments.
