Preregistration can be described as "stating as clearly and specifically as possible what you plan to do, and how, before doing it, in a manner that is verifiable by others" (Lorne Campbell, 2018). A preregistration should be done before looking at the data of your research project. You can also submit your preregistration for peer review before you conduct your research to some journals. This is what is called a [registered report][1].
