Wiki Version:
June Contest is now closed. July's contest is available [here][1]. At the 2023 Association for Psychological Science Convention, Psi Chi Research Advisory Committee members Jordan Wagge and Kelly Cuccolo organized a workshop on R. This workshop, Tiny Tasks in R, was aimed at helping beginners get oriented to R. After discussing what R is and how to get started, attendees downloaded R and worked on getting data properly loaded into R. We then worked through some tiny tasks (e.g., removing participants with missing data). The workshop followed a flow very similar to the Psi Chi R contest. Thus, the aim of June's contest is to build on that momentum. If you attended the workshop, this is a great time to try a task we didn't get to do together! If you didn't attend the workshop, this is a great opportunity to try your hand at some fun tasks in R. The slides from the workshop are available [here][2]. The tasks for this month's contest are available [here][3]. The data is available [here][4]. If you would like the codebook for the dataset, it can be accessed [here][5]. The entry form (google form) is available [here][6]. The contest will run until June 30th. The answers are available [here][7]. Please contact Kelly Cuccolo (kcuccolo@mivu.org) with any questions).
