Description: Aging is accompanied by cognitive decline, although according to recent research the rhythm of the decline depends on multiple lifestyle factors. One of them is musical practice, one activity involving several sensorial and motor systems, and a wide variety of high-level cognitive processes. In this project we are studying the impact of musical practice on healthy neurocognitive aging.
