Description: Two files are available for use: (1) DDI_List_28112022.xlsx: This is the main list of 28,225 DDIs classified as being both “severe” (i.e. the result may be a life-threatening event or have a permanent detrimental effect) per the BNF 84 (Sep2022-Mar2023) and also as being ‘a life-threatening or contraindicated combination’ (red warning, n=7,645) or ‘dosage adjustment or close monitoring is needed’ (orange warning, n=20,580) per Stockley’s, as of Q4 2022. (2) DDIs_by_Effect_28112022.xlsx: This file contains separate DDI lists for each BNF chapter, and for the type of DDI based on the overarching interaction effect or risk (e.g., hypokalaemia, bleeding, etc.) per Stockley’s.
