Wiki Version:
The files contained in this project can be used to re-create the analyses for the article "School to Work Linkages, Educational Mismatches, and Labor Market Outcomes", forthcoming in the American Sociological Review. Once the data are placed in the "data"-folder, all figures and tables will be generated in the designated folders after running the masterdofile.do The code folder contains the following do-files and R-scripts: 1. All data_preparation files (see data preparations folder in /dofiles) create the working data for the three countries. 2. main_analyses.do generates Tables 1-4 in the article and Figures 2-3. 3. main_analyses_unemployment.do creates Tables 5-6 and Figures 4-5. 4. figdesc.R creates Figure 1. Due to legal restrictions we are not allowed to share the raw data. This means that the full set of analyses cannot be reproduced without getting access to the Enquete Emploi 2005-2011, the Microcensus 2006 (SUF), the American Community Survey 2009 and the SIPP 2004 and 2008. How to get access to the data is described in readme.txt.
