Wiki Version:
This research seeks to understand: 1. What is the role of gender role endorsement (i.e., how much one prescribes to gender [masculinity/femininity] and traditional social attitudes about gender roles) in crying behaviours and people’s evaluations of their crying experiences?; and 2. Do others who are present when we cry, actually influence how supported we feel when we cry, and does this influence our evaluation of mood?
