Wiki Version:
This folder contains the code to run the experiments, as well as the raw data in anonymised form for the project. This raw data consists of contrast matching responses for the chromatic stimuli, EEG data and corresponding behavioural discomfort judgements. The data files for behavioural data (contrast matching and discomfort judgements) are stored as .txt files. The EEG data is stored as EDF files. The code for analysis is also included. This consists of MATLAB files, but these can also be opened using the non-commercial programme Octave. In addition, the plug-in EEGLAB (Delorme and Makig, 2004) is used to analyse the EEG data. In the behavioural results folder there is a subfolder for contrast responses and also for the discomfort judgements during the EEG experiment. There is the analysis script to analyse them using GLME models. There are several analysis scripts in the EEG results folder. The first one it "makesetscolour4" which will pre-process the data. The next is the "singletrialplotting" file which will identify the ERP waveforms and plot them. The three files: "singletrialP1channelaveraged", "singletrialN2channelaveraged" and "singletrialP3channelaveraged" files extract the peak of each of the respective waveforms. The "singletrialersp" conducts the time-frequency analysis and cluster-based permutation analysis. The EDF files themselves are contained in the zipped folder.
