Description: This is a simulation study that compares characterization of cumulative intake curves using the traditional Quadratic model versus the novel Logistic Ordinary Differential Equation (LODE) model. Additionally, this study validates these models for characterizing cumulative intake curves using only average bite size and bite timing (e.g., as one would derive from video coded meals).
