**Welcome to the Dugdale Research Group Wiki!**

We are interested in the evolution of within- and between-individual differences in behavioural and life-history traits. We combine empirical data and molecular ecology to dissect the contributions of individual plasticity and genetics to phenotypic diversity. Our hypothesis-driven research evaluates the adaptive capacity of individuals and populations to buffer the effects of deleterious environments. We work with a number of long-term mammalian and bird datasets from wild populations that are genetically pedigreed. We currently work on questions ranging from the genomics of senescence and personalities to early-life effects on telomere dynamics.
