### About This repository houses data accompanying the manuscript "[Geometric constraints on human brain function](https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-06098-1)". ### Downloading data Data in this repository need to be downloaded and saved in the `data/` folder of the paper's GitHub repository, [BrainEigenmodes](https://github.com/NSBLab/BrainEigenmodes). See more info below. ### Folder structure When you download the data, make sure you save the contents of `empirical/`, `results/`, and `template_eigenmodes/` in their respective GitHub repo folders of the same name. NOTE: Just copy the contents inside the pre-created folders or copy the entire folder. See folder structure of the Github repo below: - `data` - `empirical` - *save empirical files here* - `examples` - `figures` - `parcellations` - `results` - *save results files here* - `template_eigenmodes` - *save template_eigenmodes files here* - `template_surfaces_volumes` - `functions_matlab` ### Source of original data Original MRI data are from the [Human Connectome Project](https://db.humanconnectome.org/). Please consult the link for detailed information about access, licensing, and terms and conditions of usage.
