Description: Full report below. Authors' response: "We (Michael Makovi and Phillip Magness) welcome this replication report. We are concerned by the ongoing replication crisis, and we are grateful to the Institute for Replication in general and to the authors of this report in particular for their work. On a more personal note, we were pleased to read that 'the replication materials were clear [and w]e did not find coding errors.' Since the report concludes that our work was successfully replicated, we do not have much more to say. Thank you for your valuable and necessary work."
