Description: This project began in May 2019 and examines womens stress, social support, health and well-being, health behaviours during pregnancy. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was expanded to also examine experiences of maternity service use, COVID-19 related health behaviours, and the general experience and impact of the pandemic on pregnant women. Outputs for this project include: 1) an examination of prenatal stress, social support and health behaviours; 2) and examination of pregnant women's stress, mental and physical health, health behaviours, and COVID-19 related stress and behaviours during the pandemic; 3) an examination of women's experiences of formal and informal supports (including maternity services and social supports) during the pandemic; 4) an examination of differences in stress, social support and health behaviours of women living in Ireland before and during the pandemic.
