Description: In the style of a traditional Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon, the COPTR Edit-A-Thon workshop allows practitioners from around the globe to coalesce and spend a sustained block of time working on updating and improving the Community Owned digital Preservation Tool Registry (COPTR), with the hope that the confidence built during the workshop will lead to further additions and enrichment down the road. Before the workshop, participants will crowdsource a list of tools they would like to add to COPTR, as well as a list of tools currently in COPTR that require updates or additions. There will also be time at the workshop for attendees to discuss the future of the COPTR platform.
