Description: The purpose of this scoping review was to systematically analyze the existing research in this area, particularly in vitro studies that investigated the toxicological potential effects of Khat (Catha Edulis) on human or animal cells in terms of cellular viability and response and to address the molecular mechanism underlying these effects. The current scoping review was designed based on the following PCC elements, Population: human or animal cells, Concept: the potential effect of Khat, and Context: in vitro studies.
