Description: Here we make available the data and Rmarkdown analysis script for a fingerprint matching experiment we conducted with expert fingerprint examiners and novice controls. We also make available Rmarkdown scripts in which we simulate the performance of experts and novices using various models (e.g., d', A and AUC) in a number of different scenarios (e.g., extreme response bias, unequal base rates, very easy trials, many inconclusive responses). Formulas and code for each performance model are also included here.
