# Using the Open Science Framework for Better Research Adopting more transparent and reproducible research can be challenging in a collaborative environment, as the tools, workflows, and file storage strategies of collaborators can vary widely. The Open Science Framework (OSF) is a free, open source collaboration tool designed to help manage projects across the research lifecycle, from planning and pre-registration, to analysis, to sharing results and data. This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the OSF and how to use it to create more reproducible research projects and better comply with funder and journal mandates for data sharing. Participants will create a OSF project and will learn how to customize the OSF to best work for their research needs. ## Requirements * Please bring a laptop June 2017
