They have made [their slides](https://osf.io/m2aeq) available under a CC0 license ## About this version This workshop has been revised and updated to reflect changes from the new NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy. ## Description: Effective January 25, 2023, NIH has issued the Data Management and Sharing Policy (NIH DMSP) to promote the sharing of scientific data. This new policy requires that all grant applications submitted include a data management and sharing plan. During this 30-minute seminar, participants will learn how to create a data management plan (DMP) using the DMPTool. The DMPTool is a free, open-source, online application that helps researchers create data management plans and provides data management best practices resources. ## Learning Objectives 1. Understand the requirements of the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy 1. Explore the elements of a Data Management Plan 1.
