Description: This project aims to investigate the effect of technology use on adolescent well-being. Previous research has relied on Likert scale self-report measures to enumerate adolescents’ technology use. We complement and extend this research by examining both adolescent self-report technology use using Likert scales and by completing time use diaries. These time use diaries allow for a more detailed investigation of the technology-wellbeing relationship, as we examine not only the total time spent using technology but also the timings of this use.
