Wiki Version:
There are currently insufficient data for the drafting of evidence-based guidelines for OCS tapering in severe asthma patients. In order to nevertheless determine a common starting-point for tapering guidance, we proposed to draw on the consensus experience of clinicians and asthma researchers via a Delphi study. The Delphi process is a well-recognized brainstorming and questionnaire-based method used to develop consensus statements from among a pool of volunteer participants. The results of this Delphi study are in press and pdf proofing underway; access to the article is available on the [AJRCCM website][1].
