Wiki Version:
Self-care interventions are evidence-based, quality drugs, devices, diagnostics and/or digital products which can be provided fully or partially outside of formal health services and can be used with or without the direct supervision of health care personnel. Recent reviews on self-care have not focused on setting-specific considerations, and reviews of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) interventions have not specifically highlighted self-care as a potential service delivery modality. This review will focus on the design, implementation and outcomes of self-care interventions for SRH in humanitarian and fragile settings. The scoping review seeks to identify: • The factors determine the implementation and uptake of self-care interventions for SRH in humanitarian and fragile settings. • Barriers to the use of self-care interventions for SRH in humanitarian and fragile settings. • The experience of consumers and health professionals concerning the use of self-care interventions for SRH
