Description: The Current Statistics Self-Efficacy (CSSE) is a popular scale to assess student’s statistics self-efficacy. In the current study, the authors will synthesize the results of multiple studies, which used the CSSE instrument, using reliability generalization (RG) a meta-analysis methodology. We will follow the REGEMA (REliability GEneralization Meta-Analysis) framework by Sánchez-Meca et al. (2021) to complete our meta-analysis. We will search through the databases Google Scholar and Web of Science, as well as other articles manually. We will examine the dataset for inter-rater reliability, outliers, and adopt a random effects model for our main analysis, calculate estimates of heterogeneity and examine the Fail-Safe N. The results of this study will show whether the CSSE has been consistently reliable across studies. The RG of the CSSE will help researchers and practitioners understand the instruments’ psychometric properties in various populations.
