Description: The Criteria Game is designed for learning and thinking about the Digital Preservation Storage Criteria. The players take turns prioritizing the Criteria into one of 3 sections on the board - must have, nice to have, or can do without. There are a limited number of spaces within each section, so the players must decide on the Criteria that matter the most and the least to them, and are required to give reasons for their decisions. Each player is randomly assigned an institutional context from which to make their decisions for the game, for example, "you manage an archive with confidential and highly sensitive material." This game was originally designed for an iPRES 2018 workshop in Using the Digital Preservation Storage Criteria. Note: A downloadable version of the game will be available from the Digital Preservation Storage Criteria public site at: https://osf.io/sjc6u/
