Description: Professor Laura Spinu initiated this study, and a group of four undergraduate students worked on collecting the data. In our study, we explored Phonetic and Phonological Learning (PPL) by comparing two groups of speakers (monolinguals and early bilinguals) in two different tasks. Specifically, we have looked if there is a link between phonetic and phonological learning and auditory sensory memory. Acknowledgments: We are indebted to the K-CORE program and CUNY Research Program (CRSP) and all our subjects for their help with this project.
