Description: [For description in Spanish and Portuguese, please refer to the Wiki] Demographers, epidemiologists and social policy researchers from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) urge regional governments and international organizations, including the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, to take immediate actions to drastically increase the availability and coverage of COVID-19 tests in the region. In this brief document, we expose the reasons why these actions are imperative.
