1. Create private project using Meta-analysis Template as template. 2. Perform literature search to justify meta-analysis. - Link Mendeley folder with relevant papers to Background component. - Add literature review in pdf format to Background component. 3. Finalize hypotheses and literature search plan/inclusion criteria for papers to be used in the meta-analysis. - Add hypotheses in pdf format to Hypotheses and Inclusion Criteria component. - Add literature search plan and inclusion criteria in pdf format to Hypotheses and Inclusion Criteria component. - Add analysis plan (which kind of meta-analyses will be performed, if any advanced meta-analytic analyses will be performed, etc.) to Hypotheses and Inclusion Criteria component. - Register Hypotheses and Inclusion Criteria component privately. 4. Perform literature search and identify papers to use in meta-analysis. - If paper information was not extracted automatically using propietary data (e.g. using Sleuth), then add files containing coordinates and any relevant meta-data from papers to Data component. 5. Perform meta-analyses and other meta-analytic analyses. - All custom code used to perform analyses should go in a GitHub repository linked to the Analysis component. 6. Add results files (meta-analytic maps) to Dataverse or ANIMA-like repository linked to Results component. 7. Write up manuscript and post in pdf format to Final Report component. 8. Submit manuscript. - If reviewers request that changes be made to the analyses performed, register the components involved and share the requests to make it clear to any other researchers that the post hoc changes were made by external request. 9. Once manuscript is accepted for publication, make all GitHub repositories and the OSF project publicly available.
