This is the preregistration page for Team WITNESS's NGS2 Cycle 3 Boom Town experiments. It includes updates to the priors listed in Appendix A (some variables are now treated as continuous rather than categorical variables), as well as the removal of hypotheses 23 and 24. These hypotheses were included in the original pre-registration to ensure the structural equation model for the graph was closed, but the operationalization of group motivation to innovate is a linear combination of individual motivation to innovate. This will lead to perfect collinearity in regression and therefore unnecessary to include in the list of hypotheses. All changes are highlighted in the pre-registration document. An additional amendment to the pre-registration was made on October 24, 2019. The parameters of one of the explosives ("RDX") were updated due to a bug in the game. The amended documents incorporate this change, highlighted in yellow (p. 28 in the .docx file and the ‘Tool choices’ tab in the .xlsx file).
