Description: In this project, we investigate what best predicts individual donor choices in situations where they decide between giving to a sure-thing charity (with highly reliable interventions) or a probabilistic charity (with low-probability high-value outcome interventions). We investigate predictors like individual differences with regard to numeracy, optimism, empathy, as well as risk and ambiguity attitudes.
