Wiki Version:
This page contains data and code associated with the manuscript "Characterizing trends, variability, and statistical drivers of multi-sectoral water withdrawals for statewide planning" by Shortridge and DiCarlo. The "Model Data" folder includes data on water withdrawals and explanatory variables for each of the four water use sectors evaluated (agricultural, energy, industrial and municipal). The "Scripts" folder includes the following R scripts, along with the RData workspaces for each script: - StatsModel_R1.R loads the csv files contained in the "Model Data" folder, fits and evaluates the statistical models described in the manuscript. - Figures.R generates the figures shown in the manuscript The "Model Results" folder includes the output from the StatsModels_R1.R script, including summary tables related to model fit (R2_results.csv and ICC_results.csv), fixed effects coefficients for each sector (csv files ending in "FEcoef"), and plots of model error and residuals.
