Wiki Version:
**Summary** The goal of this study is to first replicate the first experiment in the Forest & Woods study which aimed to determine whether self-esteem was a contributing factor on the perceived safety of disclosing personal content on Facebook. The study is seeking replication due to small sample size. The original study found that individuals with low self-esteem viewed Facebook as a positive means for self-disclosure. The additional research question we proposed was to look at the relationship of appearance of profile picture and the perceived positivity, negativity, or ambiguity of a posted status.
